DMP run private training courses in statistical analysis and statistical computing. The courses can be custom built to client requirements (see our Statistical Modelling and Programming sections for our range of expertise), or one of our existing courses in data-mining methods, introductory R or statistical modelling.
Our courses are run by staff who are experienced in real-world statistics/data analysis and teaching these methods to a range of audiences. Attendees will receive all course materials including notes, slides, datasets, code and reference materials. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own data and problems. Alternatively these can be provided in advance so a case-study may be built around them.
Groups of up to 20 attendees offer a good interactive group size, although larger groups can be catered for in a traditional lecture format. The courses are very applied in nature and alternate between “theoretical” presentations and guided hands-on analysis by the attendees.
Our courses typically range from 1 to 3 days and come with a window of post-course consultation to help attendees put their learning into practice. Courses can be conducted at the client’s facilities, at our premises in Scotland or we can arrange an appropriate venue near to you.
